1K - $52K a year Heart Care Centers of Illinois, a multi-site clinic network of cardiovascular providers in the Southwest suburbs, currently has an opening for a Medical Assistant.
This individual will be responsible for assisting physicians, RNs and other staff with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients.
The ideal individual will have excellent communication skills, possess the ability to work effectively in a high-volume medical office environment/clinic, and be able to perform all clinical duties in a manner which promotes a team concept.
Must have knowledge of EKG equipment and must have reliable transportation as MA may cover other local clinic sites as needed.
Requirements:
Requires knowledge of basic medical assessment practices and terminology One year experience as a Medical Assistant Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred EKG experience a plus Analytical and strong interpersonal communication skills required as well as the ability to prioritize work and manage time.
